I have lived in three locations since coming to Craig in 2011. The first one was haunted by the deceased father-in-law of one of my current neighbors. He died a year before I came here but in the neighboring apartment. There was also an angry old woman who would scream in my ear to ''get out!'' This is in the apartments across from the Lutheran Church on Green Street, which I was told used to be part of a motel. It was moved right before they built

the bank across from the Courthouse. I would say that both ghosts are ''recently become. ''
The second place I lived in this town was a tiny little

house that used to be a garage. You can tell when you look closely at the plaster on the front of the building facing the street by how far back it is set from Taylor Street. The first ghost that I saw looked like a mummy. You could see his teeth through his gums, but he was not physical, definitely a ghost. He had on no clothing except his kilt/loincloth, but it was not buckskin like a Native American would wear. It was some kind of expensive fabric
