Comment by Z: I'm pretty sure I rented this house in 2012. I got stationed at Carson and deployed to Afghanistan as soon as I got there and found a house on Lords Hill on Zillow that I arranged to move into as soon as I got back, so my girlfriend and her kids could move up.
I stayed in it by myself for about a month before they were able to move up, and I always heard creaking and noises that I couldn't identify. I'd never lived in a cold place before and everyone said it was the weather and temp changes and whatnot.
After they moved in the kids were blaming each other for moving and breaking things. Louder noises came from areas of the house where nobody was. I found a night light I had in the hall flipped upside down. I would walk into the master bath, and the faucet would be on. The cat would freak out and dart down the stairs and then turn around and look back up like he was staring at something.
When you go in the basement it really felt creepy. It was like you were being watched, and I never really felt comfortable in the house. Then my girlfriend called me when I was at work. She said she was getting out of the shower and felt like someone was watching her. When she went downstairs and passed the basement door she said someone said her name, so she freaked out and sat out in her car until I came home.
We started looking for a new place after that, and I made up some fake PCS orders, so I could break my lease. We were out within a month of that although things continued for the duration of our stay. I think in total I lived there for about 4 months before I was out of that creepy house. After we moved we never experienced anything else. I did go back to finish cleaning the house, and as I was finishing up I heard a big loud thud come from upstairs. The house was empty and I was alone so I grabbed my stuff and got the heck out and never went back.

I was scared of downstairs so I slept on the upstairs couch with my dogs. But aboout 2:00 my dogs woke me up some how I looked at them and they all three had their ears up and staring non stop at the downstairs.

The little one started growling which really scared me so I stayed up the rest of the night until it was time for school.
