I grew up on Washington Street and still live here. It's been 50 years. There was 3 houses on the north side of Washington in the alley between 6th and 7th Streets. And this lady did live in the house furthest to the back. We always avoided her and would stay as far from her as possible. I remember the only time that my cousin and I were close enough to see her face, she looked tight at us and her eyes were white as snow. You believe what you want, but that is all I needed to see.

I remember being told a story about ghosts haunting a house by this old school what is now the Hope Center. I didn't really believe in ghosts at the time but after I saw the pictures, heard the story and the EVPs I was scared to death.
My friend's grandma lived in the house when she was little. I remember her telling me that she would always see and hear things with her sister. She would see things flying around the room; noises, voices, and footsteps at night.
They called ghost hunters from La Junta to take pictures around the house and capture EVPs. She showed me the pictures and we could see actual people faces and objects and I couldn't believe my eyes.
