One day I was at my school late helping tear down the dance equipment. We had a DJ system, and I was taking it to the closet it was stored in with my friend. We went in the elevator since the closet was on the 2nd floor, and we were on the 1st. We got there, and the elevator button was already lit up, meaning that the elevator would come soon. We dismissed the thought thinking someone had run by and pushed the button. When the elevator came we pushed

the DJ system in, and the doors closed.
About 10 seconds after the doors closed we heard a banging from the walls of the elevator. The walls are

covered in blankets, so that kids don't scratch the walls. We moved the blankets, and there was nothing there. By then the banging had also stopped. We got out of the elevator very scared. I had seen the bottom of the elevator shaft that was in the bomb shelter. Sometimes at Halloween we would go into the bomb shelter and tell ghost stories, but I had never heard of an elevator one.
