In the Manzanola High School there have been multiple sighting and paranormal incidents where phones have fallen off of their stand things. Basketballs rolled out of the bleachers when no one is up there. The computers shut off randomly with others staying on with no problem.

Comment by Unknown: We went back yesterday where we found clothes that has never been seen before. It was all ripped up and very very sketchy. It's not the school that's only haunted. For all we know that whole town is haunted. You always have to keep an eye out for anything weird or out of the ordinary. I can tell you that one time I was walking at night, and I felt someone touch my shoulder when I turned my flashlight on there was no one there. Again that's very creepy.

My family lived in Manzanola in the mid 70s. We happened to live in the old wooden house directly across from the railroad depot. When we moved there we greeted one day by a Mr. Zwick. (farmer and teacher at the grade school).
He expressed the need to show my parents a newspaper clipping from long ago about a former mayor of Manzanola who in what must have been a turbulent time, decided to end his life by hanging himself from outside of what was my parents bedroom.
Now granted the house was built in the late 1800's and would creak and moan on windy nights. (also on quite still nights). I slept on the third floor where the helps bunk room used to be. The room had two doors that opened and closed often by themselves, of course only when the light was off.
