I was sitting at the table doing my homework. It was late I was the only one up. It was at my grandmas house I heard an awful crying outside the window it was near the ditch in lariat. I ran between my grandmother and grandfather I was so scared.
I never did finish my homework that night but I heard I wasn't the first to hear something like that.

My brother and I were driving on 6th Street heading east. At about 11:30 ish. We stopped at the stop sign and saw a tall figure in which it looked like it was walking. As we passed by this figure, we could see this figure had a big old fashioned top hat on and a long black trench coat. It had no legs, feet, or face. It was floating right at us. I have never seen anything like this. We were truly terrified.

I have worked at an inn in Monte Vista for 5 years, lived there for 4. When I first started working there I was closing and the last one to leave. I did final cleaning when I walked into the kitchen to see someone standing next to the oven.
My mom did house keeping there and always did the 3rd floor because everybody else was too afraid to go up there. During the time I have lived there on the second floor while my boss was out of town I was the only person in the whole building.
