I lived in Monument CO downtown for years when I was a young adult and had many experiences. The most memorable and strange was waking up at 3:33 in the morning to a hollow whistle sound echoing through the town.
It was coming from outside and more inhuman than anything I'd ever heard. It was powerful and multi-dimensional (best way I can think of to describe it). I woke my husband who heard it as well.

I was sitting on my couch with my mom and my sister. All of the sudden something pushed up on our couch. We though that this was really strange because there is no area for anyone under our couch and there is no crawl space.
