in and met them on the first floor where we saw them running out of the basement. We ran for the front door, and once we were about a mile away from that old building my friends told me what had happened. When I called them they were just outside the boiler room. They told me that hearing the worry in my voice and knowing my past experiences with this kind of thing they decided to turn back. When they turned around they saw a boy standing behind them.

That is when I heard the scream and they came running up. The reason I think there are two boys in this building is the fact that while I was on the phone

with them; I kept my eyes on the little boy in the window on the second floor, and he was there until right after my friend screamed. For some reason this is by far the worst experience I have had in Palisade even though I was in no danger.

Comment by Palisade Resident: One night I was intrigued by the old building of the old high school.... I was on the grounds and I also saw someone looking out at me I went closer to look in the window and felt chilled but did not see anything else inside. That building would be a very good investigation building for a haunting.
