Every year the Penrose park and recreation department creates a haunted house in the old Penrose school. The school was built in 1918 and closed down several years back. For weeks leading up the opening we each work on our own rooms.
Some of us stay later than others and have experienced some odd things. Last year (2011) we decided to hold our own ghost hunt. We gathered a group, took cameras and a digital recorder and proceeded.

some things that I cannot explain. Many orbs were captured as well as some creepy EVP. At one point we dismissed the larger group so that a few of us
|
could get down to some serious ghost hunting.
In general I am not afraid of the ''other'' world but I decided to end our session when I clearly detected footsteps approaching our group in a darkened room. I can handle sounds but I was not prepared to be approached! Some of the other members also experienced a feeling of someone tugging on their shirt and when I questioned the ''presence'' if the large group of people was bothering it we got a
