My wife works at the Valley Wide Clinic and she said it's very creepy at like someone is behind you watching you. Loud noises, doors slamming.

I went to see an old house on South Second Street in Rocky Ford I planned renting. The lady proprietor opened the door, and I saw a specter of a Mexican man sitting happy to see someone walking through the door. I knew it was not me he saw, but someone else who had lived there. Somehow I blurted out to the lady ''there was a man who lived here not long ago.'' She said ''yes.'' Standing further in the large living room something made me turn around. When I did I saw a large group of children standing there. In the front of the group nearest me was a little Hispanic boy with sad eyes and dark circles staring at me. I told the lady ''was he abusing a child? '' She said nervously ''how did you know that? We didn't want anyone to know.'' I asked her where the bathroom was as I was going to be sick. When I returned she said she had never met anyone psychic before. I told her I am not psychic.

R. F. Seems like a vortex for the inexplicable. It may have something to do with all of the waterways, canals, and the river working as a conduit or ''conductor'' for spirits - evil, good, or benign. Who knows? I've seen quite a few weird manifestations or things I can't ever fully explain. Near the old Liberty School I saw a demon with wings near the diamond of grass at the junction of 12th Street Catalpa, and Hwy 266 (Thomas Ave). Down the road from there, [just East past the ditch on the corner of 13th & Hwy 266 (Thomas Ave) as you're going toward Ryan's Pond (between Rd. 20 & Rd. 20. 5)], you'll also see a white farmer with a straw hat, overalls, and a white T-shirt covered in blood from his face down to his waist. He walks and holds out his hands that are covered in blood with a look of shock on his face. It's a residual apparition. It's as if the same little movie clip is appearing to people and playing over and over again.
On the other side of town: On 2nd St. And Willow, a balding old man in a baseball cap with a shiny blue coat haunts the alleys and streets around this crossroads. He waves motorists down, his hands charred black and burned to the bone. Also, the Llorona is often heard. She is rarely seen. She sometimes appears wearing either a black or white dress of worn torn rags. Her head has a wrap or ''hood'' of the same matching cloth obscuring her face from our view. It can be still, but it always looks as though the wind is blowing through her long gray/silver-stranded dark hair and her robes. Her wails are scarier than anything ever heard! Sometimes on windy, cold nights, she sounds like a baby crying or a Siamese cat meowing. Don't be deceived!
Also, there's a little girl who haunts the town, usually the southwest end. She has appeared in different homes, parks, and yards (usually with swings). Some say her name is Emily Claire, Claire Emily, or just Emily. She is pale with black hair and blue eyes. She has a forlorn, sad look, but she has the face of an angel. Little kids often see her. She is benevolent and is known to be protective of children. She moves little objects like hair clips, brushes, perfume bottles, etc. From room to room. Sometimes little things disappear only to reappear minutes or hours later. If this happens to you, it's probably Emily playing tricks on you! If she befriends someone and appears to them, SOMETIMES it is because that particular person needs protection from someone in the community who wants to hurt them or who is hurting them at the time.
