Well my mother would tell me storeis like the ones I read I never thought they were true!! I used to laugh and think she was just trying to spook me!! But now I am not laughing! She had told me a story that happened in the 70's (late) she said her and my 2 older brothers we walking on fourth st (trinidad) when off of Animas st and fourth she and my brothers saw what from far appeared to be a large animal so they decided to get closer to actually see what it was! As they got within 100 yards they said it was a green man or creature of some sort but not an animal!! It stood about 2 ft tall and was doing cartwheels/flips! Within 50 yds of the creature it looked up at them and then took off running north behind the homes on S.
Animas the 400 blk to be exact! I don't know what to even say about this story but if any one else has seen or heard such a story please comment!!.

My mother and I were walking in town, Main Street to be exact. Well my mother was chasing my brother and a man possibly in his 40s or 50s, he had walked up to me with his small Chihuahua and said ''you may be afraid of this town but trust me you're about to be even more scared.'' as he said that he walked up a street, I'm not so sure which one it was but as I watched him he was starting to disappear as he walked up to the corner he looked back at me and then vanished. Two months later she had called me and said that she was scared of her house and she wanted to either stay at my house in Jansen or if I would stay with her.
So I told her I would stay with her as the night went by I would wake up and hear very strange noises as in my name being called close to my ear and I guarantee that I had heard a man say ''scared yet? '' and so the next day I woke up and went to the kitchen and had found that the lid to the trash can was on the other side of the house, water all over the floor, and broken glass on the counter.
