This information about a sighting or paranormal activity was happening at the same time as I was writing this statement. I have a friend who lives in one of these government homes. There were always strange activities like towels flying off the towel racks, closets opening and closing by themselves, cups sliding across the table, and the dog barks at something that is not there.
I had a friend whose grandmother had lived there before in the early 80s. One night his friend and he were standing on the side of the house, and they saw something about four feet tall standing in the back yard. They first thought it was the grandmother enjoying the night air. But when they got closer, it started going after them with its hands clawed and ran very quick towards them with an unfamiliar grunt. Something you would hear in a horror flick. They ran to the other side of the house, and they both thought it was the grandmother trying to scare them. But to their amazement, when they looked in through the kitchen window, and there sitting in her favorite chair was the grandmother smoking a cigarette. There was no way she could have made it to the kitchen from outside; the door would have made a sound when it was opened or closed. Besides, it was quite a ways to the kitchen from the back door. She was in her 60s or 70s, and she had problems walking.

Now the current residents have also reported experiencing strange events. I believe what they had seen was the local legend called La Llorona, which means '' the crying lady. '' The legend says the local River (the Purgatory River) had flooded in the early twentieth century, and unfortunately the flood had washed away this lady's children downstream. This lady would come out at night moaning and crying looking for her children. She wears a black dress, has long dark hair, and she is seen usually around the area the Purgatory River flows. I have also seen her once when I was about seven or eight years old. She was standing on top of the highway overlooking a local pub named '' the Hollywood Bar. '' I was on a big wheel, and she was just standing there looking at me. I took off so fast; I left the big wheel there. One of my friends had to get the bike back for me.

I saw the same thing. It was the weeping woman. I still think she follows me to this day. I used to live back in Trinidad Colorado when I was in my mid 30s. My son (who I will not mention his name) was out at the lake with my wife at the time.
