When I was young we lived in a house on Purdy Mesa. It has never been out of my mind even though we left in the early sixties. It was a two-story grey stone and had two large pine trees in the side yard. There was a small child presence in this home. He was of medium complexion with hair cut below his ears. He would sit with me while I was in bed. I was a small child at the time. My sister spent most of her time avoiding the witch as she called the

woman presence and made up games to stay safe. I never felt in danger, but my sister didn't like the feelings she got from these beings. The young boy

was usually around the house staying quiet and watching the woman was just terribly sad.
I have always wondered whether these people were real or just my imagination. When I was in my thirties my step mother said she could take me to see the house because I was always talking about it and drive right to it. The people living in it then were friendly and asked us in. They appeared delighted that I could describe the house and the yellow stairway.
