The old pen near the foothills in Boise has been said to be haunted for a long time. My mom says she went there once but she doesn't believe in ghost. In the fifth grade when our class and two others went for a field trip there.

We were walking up on the upper set of cells in one of the cell blocks. I was walking in front and from the very back cell I think I saw a hand and a face reach up from behind the bars and look out at me.

It scared me but I didn't tell anyone because they don't believe in ghosts and wouldn't believe me. I have been studying ghosts ever since. Even now in seventh grade.
