Careywood has history I am not sure of and have been trying to find something about it. My brothers and I live out in the country about a mile from the highway. We reside in a house pretty much away from any neighbors; we are convinced the land is haunted by something. Even during the day strange things happen. It first started with my older brother seeing dark shadows in his room. At that time he was twelve; and our parents were starting to build a basement

under our house. When they started, it seemed like a chain reaction of events also started.
My brother would see faces of a grey dead person in the

window, and when he would look back it was gone. He told me he saw a little girl in his window. She was pale and looked dead. He heard voices and doors shut. His closet got rearranged; both his curtains opened and closed by themselves. He heard footsteps as well as scratching on the wall in his room.
At first I did not believe him, but then strange things started happening to me! I was home alone and doing the dishes when I saw a shadow plain as day beside
