My older brother and I were walking home after dark on the road along the railroad tracks. There was a woman walking at the old loading dock under a dim light. Odd, it was after dark. There were no lights, and the place was abandoned for who knows how long. It was midsummer. She was in a long dress and seemed very upset. We followed her along (what is now) Front Street, Pine Street, and then Main Street. It seemed her dress changed colors as she passed

under the occasional street lights, but we dismissed this as we were a little behind her.
She did not respond to our calls to her, but we could

hear she appeared to be crying. She turned a corner, (I don't recall the street name) and we lost sight for a moment. We caught up in time to see and hear her step up on the wood porch of an old house (or building. ) She opened the door and walked inside. We stopped and looked at each other. Then we ran up to the porch. This place had been padlocked as long as we could remember. The padlock was still in place with cobwebs strung around it - the door
