I lived in a house that had been converted into apartments on h. St, it was an old white house that looked quite like a moselium. We had the main floor and upstairs apt. A week after we moved in a group of guys immediately left their downstairs apartment because they said a lady kept harassing them of a night in the kitchen.
A few weeks later we were at the hospital with our 2nd baby. We came home the next day and numerous neighbors reported seeing my son in the upstairs windows late that night (even though he was at his grammas while we had his sister).

Then... A few more weeks later, police were called to the downstairs apartments to reports of a baby crying, after kicking in the door hearing the baby.. They found both apartments completely abandoned with no one home...odd huh.

I was in my room, writing a poem about illusions and ghosts, when I heard a knock at my door. I said, ''come in! '' but no one came in. I went to the door and opened it but no one was there. I swallowed my fear and sat on my bed again, this time facing the door.
There was a knock at the door again, but this time it opened by itself. No one was on the other side of the door.
