The railroad tracks along the river west of town have a ghost train that comes by sometimes. If you are on the narrow slope between the tracks and the river when the ghost train comes you can feel the vibrations in the ground.
If you pick up a rock and throw it towards the tracks it will bounce off the air. If you try to touch it you might get hurt so don't do that. I don't know the history of this ghost train but it's a well known phenomenon around
