When I was a teenager I was visiting Carson City with a friend. We walked by the cemetery there across the street. As we walked by the lamp post, it went out. As we walked under it I didn't think anything of it at the time, but when we came back to walk back by the cemetery again the lamp post went out again. That pretty much freaked us out. We ran all the way home after that about a mile away. That was back in the late 70s.

I lived there on Sonoma Street in Carson City, Nevada. There was a little girl with long brown hair that played with my doll house. I would watch the stair case turn and play its music. I am now ten, and I still remember how she used to sit there just silently. She said something, but I could not make it out. I hope my tire swing still swings in that very back yard that my dad put up. If you see a cat, that is a ghost. It's my cat Lovy. Don't mind the wood chips. My dad built and filled that too.

There is most definitely a ghost that haunts the Mountain Springs Retirement Community in Carson City. The ghost is a gentleman, dressed in 1870s attire. He likes to sit in the living room in Bristlecone House, but he visits Aspen House and Cedar House, as well. Mostly he is in Bristlecone House. He is not mean, but he is a prankster, loves to push you from behind or come up behind you and shake your chair.
