The property was a livery stable and general store in the 1870s and the ghost is probably the owner of those establishments. He likes to see who is visiting his ''store. '' The ghost has been described by residents, staff, and family members--none of whom had conspired with the others. The ghost is always described the same way and too many people have had encounters. The staff never discussed the ghost with the residents, they saw him for themselves.

I once lived in a house, that house had history. The house stood off of Sonoma Street. It was a scary house. I could not get up to go to the bathroom because I got stabs, scratches, and teeth bites that were so bad they bled blood all over my bed. Wondering if it was the devil I prayed every night for it to stop, it never did. In my parents' bedroom was a little girl that they would see and then walk closer and it would disappear.

Back in the mid 1990's I lived in a three bedroom house with two other roommates. The house was not one of the old historic homes but a newer home less than 10 years old. I left for work first and was always first one home in the afternoon.
