The veil between worlds is thinnest on Halloween and day of the dead and that's when strange things have been happening at my house. Nothing has happened for a very long time and I really didn't think anything was this past week.

It started on the 29th which was only three days ago. It was midnight and I was in my room and the ceiling fan was on. When my sister and I left the room we also left the ceiling fan on. When we came back the ceiling fan was off.

Completely still kind of off like nobody ever turned it on. We had shut the door when we left and nobody went into the room. Today only a few minutes ago my mom said that my bedroom light was on. I told her I had turned it off and shut the door which I most certainly did but the door was open and the light was on.
I can tell you for sure that no one went near the room.

The other day I was lying on one of the living room chairs. All the lights were out and I was the only one there. Dad had just left for work and he forgot to turn off the kitchen faucet. I yelled out into the dark kitchen from the chair is anyone in the kitchen? Suddenly the faucet turned off.
