My son and I were coming home on McCarran Boulevard near Cashill Boulevard in the canyon on the north side and a ghost horse ran from the east side the road and to a man that led the horse away on the west side of the road.
The galloping horse was above the ground about 20-30 feet, and the apparition reminded us of television static - kind of a glimmering shape but clear enough that we both went home and without talking, drew identical pictures of what we saw.

I heard a horrible scream one evening when I was out running in Robb Canyon in West Reno. I went off the trail and crept down the canyon but never found anyone. Later on the people who live around the canyon told me about a bunch of bodies that were found down there, and that nearly everyone has heard that scream, or seen lights in the canyon when no one is there.

Comment by Sierra: I was at that canyon last night with a group of friends we were at the park benches when three out of the four of us heard the most terrifying scream I've ever heard. It's was an older male and lasted about 3 seconds.
I asked everyone if they had heard what I heard. One of my friends agreed that they had and I linked arms with her and we started almost running up the hill calling for everyone to follow us for we had two other friends at the swings.
We didn't stop 'til we got across the street into the light. It's was about 2-3 in the morning and was one of the most horrific sounds I've ever heard. You'll never catch me down there at night again.
