My family lived in a house in Donner Springs from 1980-1988. The house was built new in 1979 and was occupied for a few months, but the owner was transferred to a new job, and we bought it. Nothing happened there until after my father died in the master bedroom in late October 1986. I was home alone with the dogs watching TV in the family room when I heard heavy footsteps in the master bedroom directly above. I thought I was hearing things, but all of the dogs had their ears perked and were looking at the ceiling. Later I would smell smoke or see objects appear that should not have been in the unoccupied bedroom. My family always made me go in there to fetch anything needed. It was weird. .

Comment by Krysta: You're not alone! My great grandmother passed away in 2014, and since my mom was really close to her it hit us really hard. Because of the previous things that were happening to me in my mother's house my mom started to believe in spirits as well.
A few months after my great grandmother left both my mother and I could see her walking in the halls in the house every now and then and at random points in the kitchen.
At random times we'd both smell the scent of her soap. She gave my mom a gorgeous clock that sang every hour, and as soon as we both started to feel her presence the clock stopped working except for when we'd smell her sweet soap scent.

Last night I was at the park / canyon with a group of six people. It was 2-3 in the morning, and we were there for about 45 minutes. Two out of the six of us were at the swings, and the rest of us were at the benches. Coming from the canyon, three of the four of us at the benches heard a bloodcurdling scream. It was the most horrific sound I've heard in my life. It lasted about three seconds and sounded like an older man. I looked at one of the guys in the group and asked if he had heard it. My homegirl responded that she did, and I ran to her linked arms and just started to leave.
I called for the two at the swings that we had to leave right now. They kept asking why, but my only concern was getting away from that brutal scream. We ran up the hill, and I wouldn't let got of her arm until we got across the street under one of the street lights. I keep hearing it in my head, and it completely ruined my night. I've never been that terrified in my life. You'll never catch me down there at night again.
