Well I closed and locked the doors so there shouldn't have been anything going on. Well the entire time there was what sounded giggling and laughing upstairs. Well about 2 or 3 hours go by and my mom finally comes and I looked at the time and it was almost 3 in the morning.

I heard that the Val U hotel was supposed to be haunted by the host of Winnemucca. When we were asleep I woke up and went into the hallway and walked around. It was very weird because we were in room 115 and wondered up to the 3rd floor. I heard old music playing, and it played for a while. It was 3:18 am. The next day I did some research on the hotel. On October 15, 1973 a man by the name of Richard died from a concussion on the 3rd floor. It was said he went to get in the bathtub, and he slipped and hit his head on the corner of the tub. He had filled the tub all the way before getting in and when he fell in.

My husband and I were at the Martin hotel for dinner one night. My husband went to use the restroom and found it locked. He waited by the door for a few minutes and heard the door unlock. No one came out, and no one was in the restroom.

Up on Winnemucca Mountain there were two unexplainable black figures that looked like sticks running down the mountain. We told our parents but they had no idea. We think it might be two ghost miners from the old mineshaft that was here long ago.
