I was going to set foot out there until daylight. I didn't have any other personal occurrences that I hadn't already gone over, at that place. However,

something did happen to Jessica and her boyfriend the evening they returned for the rest of her stuff.
I was, thankfully, moved in to the new place at this point and was enjoying the comfort of peace. They arrived at the old place at around dusk. Jessica was at the front door, trying to unlock the deadbolt but it wouldn't budge. Now this duplex/house/thingy that we lived in was super old but the locks were always smooth and never gave any resistance.
