From 2005 to 2008 while working at the Gym at UNM I had lots of strange happenings. As I started work at 6:00 am and alone in a large building, it was scary in itself but being alone doesn't explain why these occurrences happened other than ghosts. Early on I noticed knocking while changing into work clothes in the locker room as well as the sound of chains. Often there would be balls on the floor that weren't there 2 minutes before. Student IDs were moved out of place when no one but me there.
According to other workers in the 50s a young woman had been killed and hanged by chains where the woman's locker room was (previously a wrestling room. ) And, a young boy about 10 drowned in the pool in the 70s. Also, an attendant who fell in pool at home drowned in the 80s. Not to mention my co-worker who died recently. He was seen the day after his death in hallway in 2012. RIP Kimo.

In 1995 while working in Zimmerman Library at the Center for Southwest Research I had mis-shelved some books as I was brand new and didn't know the Dewey System yet. Well, I had finished shelving and moving about 300 books, and just as I put the very last one in there, they all came crashing down on my head. All my hair stood up on my arms, but I knew it had to be a ghost, so I said ''I would have to do it over. Thanks a lot.' Not knowing they were all wrong to begin with! Funny yet scary.
