Months later I was again home alone doing laundry. I got the sheets out and went to my bedroom to put the fresh sheets on my water bed. About half way through with making the bed I heard a crash in my daughter's room. I went down the hall to check it out. As I got close to her door I felt the cold air and knew what I was heading

into. Upon checking things out, I found her porcelain doll lying on the floor in front of the book case. It was kept on one of the shelves all the way

to the back. I looked down again and thought had the doll been on the edge of the shelf and fallen off it would have landed on its face, but it lay on its back looking up at me. I verbalized ''why did you do that? It's my daughter's favorite doll''. I bent over and picked her up and went about checking to see if there was any damage. On the back of the doll's head there was a jagged hole the size of a dime. I took the doll and put it in the trash. When
