I used to live in Clayton. We lived on Oak Street. My father still lives there. My mother had a knife thrown at her. I watched shadows outside my window. I'd experience the worst things at night. There is always a feeling of being watched or followed even now.
Another house over by the high school is also haunted. Several people witnessed apparitions.

Comment by Trey: When I was younger I believe I used to live in that house. I would see a guy in overalls holding a screwdriver walk from the heater room into the basement.

We live in a house that's haunted, there is a little old lady about in her late 80's gardening in our back yard. We live on chestnut Street in Clayton NM. My wife and I live in this house. I put things down in certain places and in seconds there not there a few hours later there back in the same place.
My cats go around in circles in certain spot in the hallway. Like there purring being petted even where nothing there. Our dog peetie barks at the back door for some reason. I have seen a fully dressed elderly woman in our spare bedroom.
She was in the room and the door was half way open, when I turned on the light she was gone. My wife and both have heard voices in the basement. And the doorbell rings from time to time for no reason.
