I've been going to Conchas since I was a baby. I also was the boat officer for a few years. All of Conchas has major ghost activity. From orbs to EVP. If you talk to locals or frequent visitors, all will tell you about strange occurrences. Bell Point Cove I encourage EVP research. Submitted by Paul

It is true that Conchas Dam is haunted. A worker that died during the construction of the dam is still there haunting the dam. There have been numerous sightings of him throughout the years. Ghosts of dam builders are quite common.

Most large dams around the country are haunted by ghosts of workers. People working on these projects take great pride in their work and often develop deep attachments to what they build and this causes many souls to stay behind in death. Basically this ghost loves the dam as his baby and wants to stay with it. Submitted by anonymous
