Back in 1980 I was 19 yrs old. I was driving, and it was around 1am. I was on Apache street going east towards 20th Street. I was driving alone. I turned left on Vine going north at the Mormon Church. Just as I passed it, a man with a black cape ran across in front from the east to west side of the street. He floated or flew across the street and down the embankment like he was walking on air. It looked like a real person, and it was like he floated. The tail of his coat floated in front through my car headlights and then quickly went off the steep embankment. I freaked out. I kept driving because it was very dark, and no street lights were there at that time. Now whenever I visit the area and pass that street I still remember what I saw, and it puts chills up my spine to this day.

So my dad told me a story about him and his gf. They were out in the desert. Like a hill that overlooked the whole town. They were going to drink a 12 pack and relax / make out. Then my dad and his gf heard a roaring sound.
So they jumped in the car. Wondering what the hell made that noise. But then they saw a cloud of smoke that was hovering around. Then went in the ground and started to shake the car. Then my dad decided to back up and figure what the hell it was.
So there it was in front of the car. My dad pulled forward with the headlights on to get a closer look. Then whoosh down in the ground it went. So my dad decided to get out of there asap. They went back there the next day.
