Comment by Stefani: I grew up in Ft Bayard from 1976 to 1987. I lived in the last 3 story house before you get to the Swish building. In the early years there was a lot to explore. On the top of the hill to the left before the national cemetery there was a building called the Soldierners Club.
My friends and I explored every inch of that building in the 80s. We thought it was haunted due to strange noises and shadows moving. Could have been my imagination though.

I was in a 4th grade field trip to the Fort Bayard hospital. When we got there I saw strange things and shadows. What really scared me was the wheel chairs would move and the door would open by itself.
