My mom and I were walking to Officer Quarter 3, and while we were walking we started smelling some pastries. And the thing is that we were the only 2 people there at that moment. Submitted by Anonymous

I grew up in Ft. Stanton (78-95). I experienced too many hauntings to just speak of one. It's all real!!!.

About 1988 my wife and our son 15, and his friend, stopped at the Ft. Stanton Cemetery to look at markers and contemplate the buried and their history. I was looking at a grave that had a deep sink hole down its side. I told my wife I could almost see bones. Then I looked toward the SW corner of the cemetery and saw a male figure dressed in total white wearing a white hat. It seemed he appeared from nowhere. He could not have walked or ridden there without us noticing, and he was not there when we arrived. He was facing away from us but not watching us and seemed busy shuffling or floating around the graves. I asked my wife and son ''where did he came from?'' And they had no idea. We looked again and he had completely disappeared. The cemetery is several hundred yards from any structure or trees. We agreed whatever we saw was creepy and believed we had witnessed something paranormal. The scenario details are as vivid today as then. Submitted by J

My best friend, her family, and I were in Fort Stanton on 7 / 1/14. We were there for about an hour, and we took some really pretty pictures of it. Since we got there I had a bad feeling about the place but didn't say anything. My phone was working perfectly fine until I tried to get a video of the church, but my phone died. When we drove away from the church to the Museum my phone turned back on. Then we took a tour of all the buildings.
