Comment by Jamie: Omg! I too lived 100 feet from the rail also but in Albuquerque. I was so scared I didn't sleep for weeks. Thank God his sister from Albuquerque called him in. Not only was I next to the tracks but the homeless shelter called joy Junction they think he stayed at as well. I just heard last summer there was a massacre of nuns there in the 70s. I wonder if Resendes did it? And the day they caught him my clock stayed frozen at the time they announced he was caught. That clock stayed forever at 505. Talk about weird. I'm still scared just thinking about it. Never so scared in all my life!! He only had one survivor who talks about it and lived to tell. They think he killed a lot more but killed him before he confessed.
That poor lady. I hope the rest of his victims RIP.
