I was walking down Commerce Street and it was around 9 pm. I was just leaving my cousins house and it was dark. I remember that I heard a woman crying and I was shy so I didn't turn around . As I walked I felt watched by this woman.
As I got closer to my house she followed me and I heard her cry ''Brooke...... Brooke.. Its me ... Come with me ! ''and she sounded like my mom. I was about to turn around when I heard a voice scream Brooke run! So I obeyed and ran home when I got home my dad was there and I told him but he didn't believe me.

But then he looked through the window and saw a woman in white with red all over and tears. When I asked can I look he grabbed me and said no ! Don't look outside . I didn't. Later about 10 pm we went to my uncles house and he told me the story of the weeping woman.

I didn't sleep at all, my family slept close to me that night afraid she'd come back. At about 4 am I heard a cry by my window and I got scared and my older cousin stood up and screamed in Spanish '' go away you're not welcome here'' and it disappeared.
Every since that night I haven't gone outside after 8 alone.
