My father told me about a real ghost tale from 1964 in Lovington of an appearance of a little girl about age 7 that would show up in the late hours of night. His description of her was that she had blond shaggy hair and wore a light dirty green dress and thought was my older sister who resembled her.
She would always make an appearance and would wake my dad up in the late hours of the night. He tried communicating with her by asking why she came to him

but the girl would not respond and would disappear into the wall.
That story still gives me chills and l wish l could start an investigation but l

know l will be on a wild goose chase. I live in south Texas today and wonder if she appears to anyone today. Any info would be helpful and extremely interesting.
