Two years later my family and I moved to Los Alamos, NM. It was mid-October in 2015, and after putting my kids to bed I sat down with my laptop to check email. After I was done with that I started going through my kids' pictures to weed out the not-so-good-ones. After a few minutes of deleting and minor retouching, I reached the folder that had images from August 2013. They taken in a friend's house in Roswell, NM.
There were few of them, and there

was this picture that I had taken of my kids sleeping on the bed in the master bedroom. It was late afternoon, so there was plenty of light in the bedroom.

I had completely forgotten about this picture and looked at it for a few seconds admiring my girls. I am an amateur photographer and decided that the image needed some contrast.
I opened the picture in Photoshop. As I hit the contrast icon, I was horrified to see a man's face appear on the headboard to the right of the dark stained wood. I have the picture in front of me, and what I see is a man with a receding hairline that snake down his neck. He
