This is a true story, I totally attest to it. I do not know where the property is, or who owns it today, but it is about twelve miles outside Ruidoso to the north east, if I am correct. This is not the only run-in we have had with the supernatural in Ruidoso, but that's another story.

It was around 6:00 when me and my friend were wondering around by a river. Keep in mind that we live by an Indian war ground. We were just playing when we heard moan, and we looked by a small tree by the river and saw a tall dark figure that was a man.

This would happen to me daily. I would try to wake up but I couldn't I felt like if there was a weight in my chest. I couldn't move talk or open my eyes but I knew I was awake. Once I could open my eyes I would see a shadow looking at me. I would just look down and ignore it.
I would go to the restroom and come back but didn't see anything anymore. I thought it was a spirit because I lived in an old house where anything could happen. I told my parents about it but they thought I was crazy and told me I was just dreaming, but it would happen to me often.
