As a Christian I find that the practice of fasting and prayer seems to heighten my spiritual awareness - probably why believers have done it for millenia. In times of fasting sometimes eerie things have happened not always pleasant. Yet as a Christian I can invoke the name of Jesus and his blood. God and Jesus Christ are tops in authority and evil spirits are under their authority. If not a believer no such luck as bad spirits disregard you if you have no real faith in god.

You could possibly call out to god for help though. That could result in something dramatic as long as you persist and don't give up to fear and doubt. God isn't afraid to confront evil spirits as they are his enemies and he already cast them out of heaven.

Aug. 6 2011 my children and I have visited Ruidoso many times and every cabin we have rented has had some form of paranormal activity in it. But one in particular stands out from the rest. From the moment we entered the home it had a thick angry air about it. The place we rented was from condotel named log cabin. This home had activity taking place every night we stayed there. The first night at around 10:30 pm I was asleep and was woken up to see my glasses levitating in mid air about 2 feet from my face.
