I lived in San Fidel for fifteen years, and there were many strange phenomena that occurred. One occurrence, when I was ten years of age, comes to mind. It was during the springtime, and I had a school friend who came to spend a weekend with me. She was a Canadian Indian, which I will later explain its significance. Suddenly we both heard what sounded like a piccolo sound at a distance. At first, thinking it was neighbors

coming up the road, I relayed this to my friend, and I continued our conversation. I was facing away from the sound, and she was facing towards it. As the sound came closer to us, within a couple of feet, my friend's eyes grew wide. Immediately I turned to see, expecting to see my neighbors, there was no one there. I immediately turned to my friend, who was in flight. I stood up to follow suit, but something grabbed hold of my shoulder with a strong
