Comment by Christopher: I am addressing the story on Adams. Me and my father lived in a House on Adams. Across the street was a Laundromat and a child day care. Comment by Rob: I grew up on Adams Street in one of the houses across the street from the laundromat. I'm not sure if this is the same house mentioned here because I left there in the early 1990s. My family and I had many experiences in that house, ranging from seeing shadows in the hallway to electrical appliances and lights turning on by themselves. Things were found to be moved around in the house as well. Sometimes there were odd smells in areas of the house almost like old perfume at times; I would equate to decay at other times sporadically over the years. When I was a teenager living in Tucumcari my parents bought a House on south 4th St. It was exciting as it was in a really pretty neighborhood close to the Jr high and high school. Shortly after we moved I began hearing things in the night and felt an evil being watching me.
The basement door was on the other side of my bedroom door in the kitchen. I could hear loud voices laughing, talking, and eventually arguing. I could hear people walking up and down the stairs and hear the back door open and close.
