We lived in Mt. Pleasant and were surprised when one of the first questions asked of us after moving in was 'is your house haunted?' Most of the houses here are. We thought that was an odd way to start a conversation so we just laughed and said no.
Within a few weeks we just quit answering those questions because we realized something was odd about our house... Often I felt the presence of a woman watching me from the hallway. I could feel she was very

angry we were there.
Toys were turned on in the middle of the night almost every night including our son's see-n-say as if someone was pulling the

string. Our fish tank light would turn off and on. The television would come on in the middle of the night but never to a picture...
Only to static. A lamp in the living room would come on when no one was in the room. The lamp had belonged to the woman who lived there before we did. Nothing else turned on... Just her lamp. The water in the bathroom would turn on twice while I was standing there.
