Oh my gosh, the Provo house. Where do I start? I spent two years living in it wondering if I was crazy. It was a Dutch Colonial home on 200 E and 300 S built in early 1900s. Previous owner told me something about how someone had tried to set fire to it a few times in the past. I am not sure what that was all about, but when we remodeled the bathroom we found the old framing blackened by fire. The real strangeness started shortly after we arrived; we

repeatedly heard deep sighing in the foyer. We blamed it on the wind. Lights would flicker on and off, and of course we blamed it on old wiring.
We

heard doors creak open upstairs when we were all downstairs. Guests would stay over and want to leave. It was classic stuff that we didn't take too seriously. Then we started waking up to the sound of running footsteps and commotion on the stairway. Twice we had items thrown off of shelves in the kitchen when no one was in there, and I felt cold bursts of air rushing past me when I was nowhere near the windows.
