Oh, and one winter our front door was frozen shut from the ice. My mom thought it was very strange because it was not that cold. We had to use the side door by my room stairs to get outside for a week. I am not superstitious, and neither is my family, and we have never had anything else happen like this in any other home. My kids ask what is the scariest thing that has happened to me, and I told them this story. I just wonder who

The first house me and my wife lived in was on the NE corner of 900 S. and 400 E. It was said to be the first school house in town. Every night at the same time we would get woken up by noises in the attic. We were scared at first but goy used to it and would wake up to the noises and say to each other ''there they are right on time!''.

Comment by Jls: Springville is creepy. I used to live on 400 E too a couple blocks further south from your location. I used to wake up to the sound of a little girl laughing in the middle of the night and several times I thought I saw her as I was waking up in the morning.
She had long dark hair and an old fashioned white nightgown. She seemed very happy and nonthreatening but it was a little weird. Sometimes I saw her holding my kids' toys. I always wondered if she had once lived in the house next door- that house was built in the 1800s and our house was built over a pasture that was once attached to the property.
I suppose I could have just been dreaming but it would have been the same dream over and over.
