While staying in a mental health building with my teenage daughter strange sounds came from our bathroom. We left to pick my husband up from the unit and go to lunch. A regular visiting day until we dropped him off and went back to our room.
While changing into our night clothes banging sounds came from the bathroom. My daughter was very scared so I went in to show her it was nothing. I turned on the sink thinking it was plumbing noise.

came out deep red thinking it was rust from such an old building I smelled it and it smelled of death. A little creeped out we crawled into bed. There

was a small TV we turned it on and no channels.
We decided to just leave the light on and go to sleep. Suddenly the TV turned back on and got louder and louder with just static sound, the light went off and we heard running sounds in the hall outside.
Again turned TV off, light back on, and checked the hall. Nothing there. We stayed awake till sunlight and grabbed our things went to the office to complain about other tenants in the hall only to be
