A few years ago my wife and I were traveling home from Denver and stopped in Laramie to stay the night. We arrived early and had some time to kill, so we went to the Territory prison. We decided to take the tour, but as there was an unruly child on the tour we broke off and walked around by ourselves.
My wife wanted to go see the chapel, and as I had a bad knee at the time I found a bench that faced the back of the warden's house. I sat and was looking

around, and I saw a man dressed in all blue walk from the warden's house toward the front of the prison. It was a spring afternoon in Laramie, and the
|
clouds in the sky were amazing, and I looked up at them for a moment. I looked back at the man in blue, but he was gone. He wouldn't have had time to walk the distance from the warden's house to the wall of the prison even if he had been running.
Once back at the gift shop, I asked if anyone had seen any ghosts in the prison and was told that in a couple of the cells they have been seen, but never what I had described. Now ever time we go
