Some time in December 2019 in new Adelanto about 11 p.m. my sister was driving, and my niece was with her as well on Verbena, going towards Mojave. As she was driving, she saw 3 males crossing. As she got close, she saw 2 of the males made it across, but one was still in the middle of the road. My sister started to say ''that's why they get hit because they play around''. Suddenly they all disappeared, and suddenly her car got cold, and a mist surrounded my sister and her daughter. My niece lost it and started crying uncontrollably, calling her dad to come and get them.

Back in 2008 my friend and I were off-roading in the desert west of Adelanto. There was absolutely nobody out there at the time. It was just starting to get dark, and we saw a late 80s model Camaro backing onto a dirt road up ahead of us. As we got closer we saw a man in the car with a homemade mask on made from a brown paper bag. He looked to be alone, and we took off fast. We saw his headlights get behind us, but he did not try to catch us. It was very strange.
