I was driving home along Navajo Road at 2 a.m. after I got off work when I saw something crouched down in the road. It looked neither human nor animal; it almost resembled a large golem from Lord of the Rings. I swerved and pulled over, and I got out to see nothing there. Then a cop came and asked me if I saw the exact same thing in the road just then. Could it possibly be a skinwalker? Does anyone know the history of the area of Navajo Road and Bear Valley?. Comment by Jodie: I know that parking lot of Walgreens used to have an apartment complex there (a duplex). I think it used to be really active, but they tore it down a long long time ago.

I was about sixteen years old when I myself and three of my ''friends'' decided to drive out to Bell Mountain and planned just to chill and hang out. I had a big crush on the guy who was driving, so I'm up for anything just to be around him. I've lived in the high desert since the fourth grade, so all though I grew up here I really never ventured too far. It was dark when we left and really dark when we found a spot we could park the car. As I was letting the other girl out from the back seat, the driver and the girls' companion got out and came around to us.
Well I didn't even have time to get my barring when all of a sudden I saw this man in dark clothing. He was an older man. His clothes were not cleaned; his skin was dirty from hard work. For whatever reason we were there for he was not letting that happen. As I was trying to spin myself around him, he would not let me by. I was telling my friends that we had to go, that we didn't belong here, and that we should to leave now. Needless to say, none of them saw him except for me. As time went by it dawned on me that not one time did I hear the man's voice, and lastly they were no homes built on, near, beside, in front, or in the back of Bell Mountain. Submitted by Jodie
