To the person who lives near the canal, do you live near the cat walk? A young boy drowned the 1980s. We have had many sightings here also. We had someone lying in the bed. I feel the ground is haunted here and I feel like our block on Cindy Drive is cursed. If your spirit is little harmful, you'll be able to manage to live with it.

I moved from Modesto, CA to Atwater, CA in 2017. My house was built brand new, and I am the first owner. The homes are off Bellevue Road, the Stone Creek homes that have the canal behind them. First thing to happen is when I was in the front restroom, and the light switch turned off by itself. It was loud like someone's hand quickly flicked the light off because the noise made me jump. There have been numerous times where I was home alone, and out of nowhere I got an off-feeling like someone was in the house with me, and my dogs would stare and follow their gaze as if there was a person passing by.

I have heard crazy loud bangs inside the home, and after inspection of every room with my fire arm because these bangs coming from the inside the house were so loud that it sounded like someone broke in. Then my dogs started snarling and barking like crazy too, which sometimes made it worse. I have only seen something once, and it was lying down in bed. My spouse was asleep, and a bright orb came out of the wall. It was orange and white and then vanished. I have blessed my home, and it's been calm lately. I live here in Atwater. Around 4-5 months ago me and my mom were driving around the backside of Castle Air Museum, and we were in the area of what seemed to be the old living quarters of some sort, and as my mom was focusing on the road, I saw a lady in uniform on of the top windows. I'm interested in going back soon with some friends at night though.
