In the apartments Villa Esperanza in Avenal CA we lived upstairs facing the hill side. One day I was outside in the balcony looking out, and I heard a lady crying. I got the chills so bad, and I stayed stiff without moving. As I looked down the balcony, I saw a woman in a white dress walking slowly on the grass. I immediately ran inside and informed my family. We locked up everything and never heard from that subject again.

One day me and my mom were just driving to Avenal after we were in Coalinga. It was 10:01 p.m., so it was really dark outside. We didn't have the radio on or anything. While my mom was driving and I was sitting next to her, out of nowhere I heard as if there were a group of 4-year olds laughing and having a good time. This was by the bridge going to Avenal. I looked at my mom and asked her if she had heard that. Then she looked at me saying she heard it too, but she didn't say anything because she didn't want to scare me, but I had heard it too! Keep in mind, it was just our car on the road driving to Avenal. This was really crazy. I recommend people to go by the bridge, and you can maybe hear the same!.

Avenal is a unique place. I have lived many places both in and out of California. Nowhere is as haunted that I know of, anyway. We lived in a fifth wheel for a few months of our stay. We arrived in the middle of the night with no warning to the neighbors at Stanislaus and 4th. They must have thought we were CRAZY. I know I did, but we had no choice, and I came to appreciate people and their world and life itself, for it is precious there.
