We went out to the front and the big door was unlocked. My older brother went in the house so we decided to try and open the big door. We got it opened and inside the garage door came crushing down with a bang.
We went running to the small door again, it was locked. We heard a growl coming from the big door. My older brother had come out to see what happened so we went in the house with him and told him. He went to the big door out front and pulled

the door up and then it slammed back down in front of him.
He said he thought it needed grease so he will grease it the next day. We asked him

about the growling. He said it must have been our imagination. He never did go back out there to grease the door.
None of us ever went in the garage again. That house burned down in March of 1969.

Comment by Diane: I'm curious as to where abouts this house is, you don't need to give the exact address if you don't want to but is this place any chance near Second and Azusa Avenue? I lived in the corner house across from the liquor and let me tell you some crazy stuff happened to my family and I there.
